Buying or selling a home is likely one of the most important and complex financial transactions of your life. Without expert support, it can become overwhelming, frustrating, and more costly to you. As a licensed real estate agent, I expertly guide and assist my clients with their real estate needs every step of the way, making the process as smooth as possible. My real estate expertise can also help save you money and avoid potential problems. You deserve an agent who has your best interests in mind. Please call or email me to discuss all of your specific real estate needs and to learn how I can help.
My commitment to education and professional development enable me to provide exceptional service to my clients. I earned dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Business Administration from LSU in Marketing and Management Information Systems. I have also earned the specialized real estate designations of Sellers Representative Specialist and Accredited Buyers Specialist.
My professional experience is not limited to real estate. I have enjoyed several successful careers over the years, including owning a web design and marketing firm. I have also worked extensively with attorneys and other professionals in settings requiring the precise management of extremely complex information.
I love all aspects of being a realtor! Whether it’s taking a personal interest in clients to understand their exact needs, creating marketing strategies for their properties, or negotiating and writing contracts - I enjoy it all! I genuinely care about my clients and find great satisfaction in guiding them in a meaningful way as they maneuver important transitions in their lives.
Many people are surprised to learn that I am a licensed USCG Captain, ocean mariner, and offshore adventurer. In 2004, my husband Buddy and I sold our businesses, home and cars and set sail on an ocean-rated catamaran. We lived aboard our sailboat for six years, covering over 19,000 nautical miles while exploring the Bahamas, Eastern and Western Caribbean, and the northern coast of South America, including Venezuela and Colombia. You can read about our adventure aboard our sailboat “Indigo Moon” at our website www.indigomoon.us.
When our sailing adventure was completed, we sold our catamaran and purchased a home in Old Mandeville in 2010. It was not by accident that we chose to live in Mandeville. We have always loved everything about the Northshore and there is no other place in the world we wanted to call home. We can easily access the exceptional culture of New Orleans; a fabulous bike path and state park are next door; and, our ‘new’ sailboat (a very old Catalina 30) floats happily within a mile of our home. No matter what day of the week, those perfect sunset sails, bicycle rides, or dinners in New Orleans are only minutes away from our quiet small-town community.
I enjoy sharing my excitement of living in such a peaceful and wonderful community while assisting my clients in also making their dreams come true. You’ll find I'm especially passionate about my favorite pastimes, all of which involve the outdoors – gardening, bicycling, sailing, or simply enjoying a beautiful sunset walk along the lakefront!
